The event MANUEL SACRISTÁN The relevance of his thought: Equality and feminisms and the crisis of the culture of peace, ecological and social,
which will take place next Friday, September 5, coinciding precisely with the centenary of the birth of Manuel Sacristán, is dedicated to exploring the profound relevance of the ideas of this philosopher, professor, and activist and their interrelation with the great challenges of the present. We will analyze how the life and work of Manuel Sacristán addressed the struggle for equality and feminism, as well as the multiple crises that define the current era: the crisis of the culture of peace, the ecological crisis, and the social crisis.
To delve deeper into these issues, in addition to the active participation of the attendees, we will have the interventions of the speakers Marta Ferrer, Sofia Lorenzo, and Víctor Ríos.
This day of debate and reflection is jointly organized by the Neus Català Foundation and the Nou Barris Taller d'Idees Cultural Association.
