The next May 8 at 7:00 p.m., Cal Temerari (Sant Cugat del Vallès) will host the screening of the Mexican documentary “Ahora que estamos juntas”, directed by Patricia Balderas, within the framework of the cineforum series.
The film addresses street harassment in Mexico and centers the experiences of women who, in the face of these violences, promote forms of collective organization, accompaniment and self-defense to inhabit public space without fear.
The session will feature the presence of Patricia Balderas, director of the film, and Diana Alva, protagonist and feminist activist, who visit us from Mexico and will participate in the dialogue with the public.
In addition, the event will include a live music performance by Masta Quba, which will bring an artistic and community dimension to the gathering.
The activity aims to generate a space for reflection and collective participation around feminisms, rights, and forms of resistance against violence.
