The next May 6 at 6:30 p.m., Cines Texas (Barcelona) will host the screening of the Mexican documentary “Ahora que estamos juntas”, directed by Patricia Balderas, within the framework of a film forum open to the public.
The film addresses street harassment in Mexico and places at the center the experiences of women who, in the face of these violences, promote forms of collective organization, accompaniment, and self-defense to inhabit public space without fear.
The session will feature the presence of Patricia Balderas, director of the film, and of Diana Alva, protagonist and feminist activist, who visit us from Mexico and will participate in a dialogue space with the public after the screening.
The activity aims to generate a space for shared reflection around feminisms, rights, and collective strategies against gender violence.
