David Selvas directs, based on the text by Lucía Carballal, this no-holds-barred conversation starring a top cast with María Pujalte, Francesca Piñón, and Cristina Plazas, and with live music by Berta Gratacós
Barbara's premature death brings together Susi, Carmen, and Encarna, friends since school, at a hotel far from the city. They each mentored and loved Barbara in their own way. Through memories and conversations, their internal struggles about work, motherhood, and feminism are revealed, while the strength of their friendship is tested.
Les bàrbares is a dialogue between generations. A play about the contradictions of three women in their sixties, but, above all, a celebration of friendship.
