During the morning, from 11:00 to 14:00, the main street of the venue will be filled with activities for all audiences. Among the highlighted proposals there will be an anti-racist game organized by the XES of Sant Andreu, games in Catalan by the CNL of Barcelona, giant chess and in different formats with the Catalan Chess Federation, as well as a reading corner promoted by the Ignasi Iglésias–Can Fabra Library. Also, a photographic exhibition celebrating the 15 years of the Colla Jove de Barcelona can be visited.
The morning program also includes shows and dynamic activities in various areas of the venue. At 11:00 a.m. will take place the show “Una carretada de contes” at the sports court of Can Fontanet. At 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. will be held guided tours on the history of Fabra i Coats, while at 12:00 p.m. one can enjoy “Contes Cantats” at the library auditorium. In parallel, the Colla Jove de Barcelona will offer a castellers workshop at the sports court.
Music will also be a protagonist with the open rehearsal of the Big Band Senior at 1:00 p.m. at Espai Josep Bota. Immediately after, at 2:30 p.m., a popular lunch will be held with a Basket Beat paella, with limited tickets available on the same day.
In the afternoon, the program will continue with a family DJ session from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with DJ Siamiss Kids. Between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., the lobby of the Creation Factory will host hybrid instrument workshops and preparation of a live show, led by Las Pibas, La Jabalina and Carola Zelaschi. At 6:00 p.m., La Porxada will be the setting for a Basket Beat workshop.
The day will culminate with a showcase of musical residents, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in the multi-purpose rooms, with performances by Tina Masawi, Cecé & The Soul Kitchen and La Ruka.
This initiative counts with the participation of various entities and collectives of the territory, consolidating Fabra i Coats as a space of meeting, creation and cultural dynamization in the neighborhood of Sant Andreu.
