Of Oriol Pla Solina and Pau Matas Nogué.
Oriol Pla explores the desire to be seen in a piece between dance, clown and performance. After "Travy", the new show "Gola" —produced by Temporada Alta and the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya— addresses the sin of gluttony as a metaphor for compulsive consumption. Pla explores with his multiple registers the limits between voice and word, movement and discourse, jester and clown, to offer a vibrant reflection on modern overexcitement and the insatiable desire to be observed.
With humor, tenderness and an overflowing energy, the performer moves between the eagerness to please and the loss of identity, becoming a harlequin who dances so as not to stop being seen.
