Transformative cooperation on Príncipe island: come to know our experience in water and sanitation diagnosis

The next Wednesday, April 29 at 18:30 h, we will hold a new welcome and dynamization session for new ESF volunteers.

In this meeting we will share the experience of the participatory diagnosis that we have carried out recently on the island of Príncipe, in São Tomé and Príncipe, a process that has allowed us to delve into the reality of the territory and into the challenges linked to the access to basic services and to environmental justice.

This session will be an opportunity to learn firsthand how we work international cooperation from Enginyeria Sense Fronteres: from listening and joint work with local communities and organizations, putting at the center the needs of the territory and shared learnings.

The people who have participated in this process will explain how the diagnosis has developed, what realities and needs have been identified, and what challenges and possibilities open up from now on.

Also it will be a space to talk about the role of volunteering within the entity and of how we can contribute collectively to the defense of human rights, universal access to basic services and global justice.

At ESF we understand cooperation as a tool to strengthen processes of social transformation, always from an internationalist, feminist and ecologist outlook, in coherence with our commitment for a more just world.

The session is open to all people who want to know the entity better, resolve doubts and discover ways to get involved in the different volunteering spaces.
