19th edition of DESLIMITA’M, the social theater show made by young people, which this year will take place on Saturday, May 16 starting at 10.00 h at the Centre Artesà Tradicionàrius of Gràcia in Barcelona.
Throughout these nineteen years, young people have shared their reflections with the public on very diverse social topics, mirroring the society that surrounds them.
On this occasion they will talk to us about artificial intelligence, of the prejudices that exist between the elderly and young people, of the hopes of finding a decent job, of the right to leisure and culture for people with diversity, of the different family models, of school bullying, of trust, of fear and of war.
We will have 9 groups that will go up to the CAT stage from different neighborhoods of Barcelona such as Verdum, Sant Andreu, Ciutat Vella, Zona Franca, and from the metropolitan area such as Sant Adrià del Besòs (La Mina), Montornès del Vallès, Santa Coloma de Gramenet and Sant Just Desvern, who invite us to see their creations. They will be short theater pieces of 15 minutes.
After each performance, the audience will have the opportunity to participate in a small forum, where they can ask questions to the creators, protagonists of the stories, in order to share them more closely.
UNLIMIT ME seeks to break with all stereotypes to show us without filters the authenticity of its protagonists, who without more tools than the desire to fight, go up on stage to offer us their truths, their way of being and feeling the society in which they move.
ImpactaT is a precursor and pioneer association in the field of Theatre of the Oppressed and Social Theatre in Catalonia and throughout Spain, since 2006.
ImpactaT tells us about social transformation through theatre, showing other ways of working with the social fact that, although they have an educational component, move away from more conventional and traditional educational work. Thus, the entity uses theatre as a mirror of the social reality that surrounds us and as a tool for reflection and social transformation.
