The Nau Bostik, in the Sagrera neighborhood of Barcelona, kicks off this Friday, May 29, a new edition of La Juganera with a program full of concerts, DJ sessions, workshops, and popular activities that will last throughout the weekend. With free admission and a clear commitment to community culture, the space will become a meeting point for lovers of reggae music, Catalan rumba, Latin rhythms, and family activities.

The first day will start at 6 p.m. with a musical “txupinazo” by Sagresamba, a historic percussion collective from the Sagrera neighborhood that will be in charge of kicking off the party. Next will be the turn of Sumerr and The Soul Adventurers, one of the outstanding reggae roots proposals of the current scene linked to the La Panchita Records label. The night will continue with the Jamaican energy of Riddim Riders, a group formed by Dimas, Rowsi, Ben Jammin, Naila De Swardt, and Sabina Sound, which promises a session full of Caribbean rhythms. The closing of the day will be handled by DJ Owey's live performance.

The next day, Saturday 30, the party will start from midday with a vermouth enlivened by the Salsero de la Bostik collective. The proposal will include a social workshop and a dance wheel, as well as a musical session with DJ La Cara B. At midday there will also be a popular lunch organized by Kantina Migrante, which will serve a paella at a popular price. In the afternoon, activities will move to a more family-friendly format with a space dedicated to children and families that will include a participatory mural with B-Murals, a circus workshop by L’Anòmala, and the creative installation Mundos Babosos by Parque Creativo BCN.

Saturday's musical program will begin at 6 p.m. with Los Pelos del Gato and their “pure and hard” Catalan rumba. Barrio Adentro will also perform, with a proposal based on festive and danceable Latin music, and DJ Fabxlous, in charge of maintaining the atmosphere between concerts. The closing of the second day will be for DJ Nesky, an artist from southern Catalonia who will combine pop and iconic music with electronic remixes. The organization encourages attendees to bring their reusable cup.
