Very little is left for the premiere of Sala 39, the new bet from Impuls Teatre, a play that will transform an apparently simple interrogation room into an intense psychological game full of surprises. The show is made up of two independent pieces, Remordiment and Prejudici, united by the same stage and the same situation - They are two victims, two suspects, a single room and only 24 hours to reach the truth. Through a thriller plot, the play keeps the spectator in constant tension, playing with appearances and with the secrets hidden by the protagonists.
In Remordiment, a high-class woman faces an increasingly suffocating interrogation, while investigators try to discover what lies behind her serene and controlled appearance. In Prejudici, on the other hand, an arrogant suspect challenges the police team in a verbal duel marked by strategy, manipulation, and emotional resistance. The two pieces explore the limits of truth and the fragility of certainties in situations of maximum pressure.
The company's director, Raül Carretero, explains to Viu Molins de Rei that this new production arises from the success of Sala 42, premiered last year at Espai Collserola. “It was so successful that we have made the second part”, he points out. In this sense, he assures that “they are very powerful cases, intense thrillers that make people leave reflecting”.
Tickets have a price of 12 euros
Sala 39 has an approximate duration of 90 minutes and will be performed on Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31 at 7 p.m. in the Gothic room of the Renaissance museum.
