Next Saturday, May 9, the cultural district Poblenou Urban District will celebrate the fourteenth edition of the Poblenou Open Day. An event that, one more year, will open the doors of more than fifty spaces of the Creative Community and will do so with more than eleven uninterrupted hours of free cultural programming in the Poblenou neighborhood.

Throughout the entire day, one will be able to enjoy an exclusive program of exhibitions, art, design, photography, dance, talks, workshops, DJs, live music, guided tours and gastronomy. In this year's edition, the organization expects to host more than 15,000 people throughout the entire day from 11 am to 11 pm.

A key date for art lovers

Considered one of the flagship events within the annual agenda of the city of Barcelona, the Poblenou Open Day arrives one more year with a program full of proposals to get to know firsthand everything that is done inside the workshops. For this reason, there will be open doors at art galleries, education centers, artists' studios, showrooms, shops, gastronomic spaces, as well as conferences, workshops or live music.

One of the spaces that can be visited will be, for example, La Plataforma (Pujades, 99), which will present the opening of Esfinges, by the artist Blanca Haddad, a proposal that invites to delve into a symbolic and suggestive universe. The day will begin with an exclusive preview until 3 p.m. with prior reservation. From 3 p.m., the space will transform with DJ sessions, a poetic performance by the artist at 6 p.m., cocktails and a sales corner for the gallery's paper archive. Also, Disseny Hub Barcelona, the Load Gallery, the Museu Can Framis or the Fundación Palo Alto, among others, can be visited.

You can consult all the programming and the spaces that participate here.

Furthermore, within the framework of the celebration of the Open Day, the Windows Art Circuit will also be held, a circuit where one can see live the work of more than twenty artists previously selected by a jury formed by artists and culture professionals.
