EXHIBITION: ROJO TABÚ

Rojo Tabú is included among the Art Comunitari de l’Associació Cultural Tudanzas with the aim of answering different questions about the taboos that still exist around menstruation andtrying to break prejudices and clichés through artistic language. In this project, the topics about the menstrual cycle become a ground where new ideas and reflections can be sown, while giving space to creativity and observing the multiple facets of the theme.

Work is done from the body to generate a space of trust among the participating people, free of prejudices and stereotypes of any kind, including those of gender, with language as inclusive as possible. The methodology is based on spaces of artistic creation where movement is the engine of exchange and of the community composition of collective plastic, audiovisual, and scenic works. The works exhibited here reflect the work carried out during several Laboratoris de Rojo Tabú conducted in the last three years.
