What do we need to talk about to understand each other, to care for ourselves and heal, to start opening spaces from which to think about a world that is more ours, spaces where we can fit and breathe calmly? What wound do we need to close and with what language do we stitch it? How do we return to the body, with its cycle, its size, and the space it occupies? O’varias is a slap on the table, a commitment to critical reflection and education as the only way out of a society that wants productive, submissive, and alienated women. A performance of urban dances with pictorial, poetic, and scenic aspects born from the collaboration of the company Move in Vein with Patricia Rivera Prieto and Ona Salvat Febrero.
The O'varias show won the Escena Nord 2020 grant, which is awarded by the Live Performance Apprenticeship Program.
