Dones violetes is a poetry recital that raises its voice for the equality, freedom, and dignity of all women. A collective act where words become a cry, an embrace, and a shared memory.

The evening will begin with the screening of a video created especially for the occasion, featuring poets and quotes from women who have paved paths of struggle and hope. Following this, the person in charge of the event will read an 8-M manifesto, which will lead into a poetic journey full of emotion and commitment.

The voices of Lola Irún, Alba Irene González, Sílvia Rins, Maite Doñágueda, Miquel Teixidó, Remei Manzanero, Pedro Alcarria, Txema Anguera, Mabel Escribano, Carmen Esteban, Luis Endrino, Jesús Sánchez, among others, will weave a mosaic of verses that invite reflection, feeling, and continuing to move towards a more just society.

A meeting for poetry lovers and for all those who believe that words can also transform the world.

Because when poetry is tinged with violet, equality finds its voice.
