The Foment Martinenc is one of the most emblematic organizations in Clot–Camp de l’Arpa, with a history spanning over a hundred years. Initially created as a meeting and social revitalization space, the Foment has evolved into a civic and cultural facility of great importance in the Sant Martí district.
The entity hosts a wide variety of activities and projects: from theater, music, and ballroom dancing schools to training workshops, conferences, exhibitions, and literary contests. It is also home to sports clubs (especially the Club d’Escacs Martinenc, one of the most important in Catalonia) and social and cultural organizations that carry out their usual activities there.
El Foment Martinenc has multipurpose spaces, assembly halls, and classrooms that facilitate associative activity and citizen participation. Furthermore, it plays an active role in the neighborhood's festivals and celebrations.
