Ateneu Popular 9 Barris Fàbrica de Creació

The Ateneu Popular 9 Barris is a public sociocultural center that operates under a community management model. It originated from a neighborhood occupation in 1977 of an asphalt plant built between the Roquetes and Trinitat Nova neighborhoods. It revives the idea of culture, intervention, and connection with the territory, and aims to be a project that contributes to social transformation. The project's core areas are circus production and training, cultural programming and dissemination, and work with the territory.
