We focus on meeting the needs of artists and cultural agents at different stages of their careers, offering workspaces and resources for the development of their projects. We provide studios and workshops for over 30 resident artists, along with a free public program of events, training, and open calls.
The Scottish Woman
La Escocesa is a public center for artistic residencies and contemporary art production, collectively managed by the artists' association 'Associació d’Idees EMA'. Access is granted solely through an annual call for applications, issued at the end of the year (for more information on the call, check social media and the website around the emission date).
