MUHBA Fabra i Coats

The Fabra i Coats factory is a complex of exceptional heritage interest, following the model of English industrial estates. The recovery of the complex has largely preserved the built ensemble, which is now beginning to host cultural and educational entities and projects. The project, driven by the Barcelona History Museum, which includes the large halls of the energy system along with other spaces, is oriented towards the creation of a museum space focused on the relationship between the city and work. The project incorporates the archives and objects from the remarkable collection donated to the city by the Associació d'Amics de la Fabra i Coats.
