Museu de la Música

The Museu de la Música de Barcelona is the institution of the Barcelona City Council dedicated to experimentation and reflection on musical activities. It is an agora for meeting and a place for debate, knowledge, and aesthetic enjoyment that should enable citizens to be more aware of how musical creation constructs our individual and social emotions, and more capable of deciding on its methods, values, and interlocutors. Beyond the contemplation of instruments and documents and the preservation of heritage, the objects should facilitate dialogue between emotion and reflection surrounding music.
