La Bòbila Library is part of the Municipal Library Network and was inaugurated in March 1999. It serves both the city of L'Hospitalet and the Can Vidalet neighborhood of Esplugues de Llobregat.
Its documentary collection is very extensive and pays special attention to the noir and crime genres, with related activities such as reading clubs, film cycles, and exhibitions. Furthermore, it has spaces adapted to different groups: a corner for children aged 0-4, a family corner, an adult area with knowledge and leisure resources, and study rooms.
The library also offers services such as internet access, office automation, interlibrary loans, and promotes citizen participation through workshops, clubs, and training activities. Electronic Headquarters With its offerings and location, the Biblioteca la Bòbila is consolidated as a key local facility that promotes reading, culture, and social cohesion in Esplugues and L’Hospitalet.
