Esbart Sant Cugat has presented the show of dance of Sant Medir, which the youth group will perform next Tuesday, March 3. The event will take place at the Teatre de Mira-sol during the festivity of Sant Medir in two sessions, the first at 6:30 p.m. and the second at 7:30 p.m.
The proposal is the result of two years of work in creation and research, under the direction of Roger Cusidó. The show is born from the ten-minute sample that they performed at the 50th anniversary of the entity last year, and which has culminated in a twenty-five-minute performance.
The work aims to reflect the spirit and essence of Sant Medir with a renewed staging compared to the 1992 original. Thanks to Carles Morales, choreographer, and Sergi Masalias, music producer, an updated creation has been made that combines traditional and electronic sounds with the influence of jazz.
From the Esbart they invite the entire population to attend, especially the youth and the new generations from Sant Cugat.The entrance has a cost of €1 and can be reserved through the City Council website.
