To provide an experience that allows one to get to know Barcelona in a more "close, authentic and tasty" way: with this spirit, the Tapeo Tour is born, an initiative that invites residents and visitors to explore the area around the Sagrada Família tasting all kinds of tapas.
The gastronomic route, organized by Eix Sagrada Família, takes place every Thursday and Sunday until October 19, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The objective is to turn the streets into a meeting point, where residents can enjoy local commerce and at the same time get to know some of the most unique heritage sites in the neighborhood.
The circuit brings together more than thirty establishments, offering a wide range of proposals, such as tapas inspired by Catalan cuisine, Mediterranean recipes, international specialties, and unique and innovative creations. For less than five euros, participants in the Gastronomic Tour can taste a tapa accompanied by a drink of their choice.
During the Tour de France
The Tapeo Tour coincides with two particularly relevant events that will be held throughout 2026 in the city. On the one hand, the commemoration of the centenary of the death of the architect Antoni Gaudí, a key figure linked to the history of the neighborhood. On the other hand, the celebration of the Tour de France, which will start in Barcelona next Saturday, July 4. Precisely, due to this international event, exceptionally, until July 9, the Tapeo Tour can be enjoyed every day of the week, also at the same time.
