Conversation with the promoters of the NO CALLAREM Barcelona Artists at Risk project, Mahsa Mohebali and Hossein Zoghi, Iranian cultural activists hosted in residence in Catalonia. NO CALLAREM Barcelona Artists at Risk is a project that protects and supports artists in situations of vulnerability, defending freedom of expression and cultural rights around the world. Barcelona thus becomes a refuge and a space for creation for creators whose work and voice have been threatened. With Mahsa and Hossein, we will explore the reality of censorship in Iran through contemporary creators, highlighting the bravery of those who continue to create despite repression. A meeting to learn, listen, and reflect on the power of art as a tool for resistance and solidarity.
