The Cerdanyola Association of Plastic Artists presents a new exhibition: Art Tèxtil, by Les Tapisseres, at the sala B'art of the Ateneu in Cerdanyola.
Art Tèxtil is an artistic discipline in which fibers of vegetable, animal, or synthetic origin are used as the main material, bound with other elements to create utilitarian, decorative, or artistic objects.
In this exhibition, you will find different textile art techniques: embroidery, weaving, crochet, dyeing, felting, sewing, printing... each work shown defines its author. Las Tapisseres are a group of different artists united by the desire to create, participate, and share knowledge within the world of Textile Art, which is nowadays considered an important part of contemporary art.
The exhibition can be visited between January 26 and March 15. The inauguration will be on Friday, January 30 at 7:30 p.m.
