Until January 31, La Lleialtat Santsenca in Barcelona is hosting La gran dona diversa, a photographic exhibition by the Fundació Avismón Catalunya that celebrates the richness, personality, and diversity of older women.

This exhibition is the result of the Concurs Fotogràfic Avismón 2025, a social initiative that gives voice and visibility to unique life experiences through portraits captured by 15 amateur photographers. 

The images invite the public to break with stereotypes associated with female aging and to contemplate old age as a stage full of value, wisdom, and dignity. It is an invitation to see older women as protagonists full of stories, passions, and perspectives that deserve to be heard and admired. 

Admission is free and the attractive space of La Lleialtat, a community and cultural center in the Sants neighborhood, is the perfect setting to discover these visual stories that move and make you reflect.
