The Workers' Federation becomes the reference cultural and civic center of Molins de Rei, with a program of cultural and educational activities and with the objective, among others, of supporting all entities, associations, collectives, and promoters for the development of their activity.
The current building was constructed in 1921 by the modernist architect Cèsar Martinell, following the commission from the founders of this association, heir to the Les Tres Classes de Vapor union. The Federació Obrera permanently houses the interpretation center on the labor movement with the exhibition "The Federació Obrera of Molins de Rei: the values of the labor movement," which showcases the republican democratic and modernizing values such as freedom, equality, and solidarity, which were so strongly promoted during that period. The center also explains the citizen's demand to recover the building confiscated during the Franco dictatorship and not returned to the people until well into democracy. The Federació is part of the Network of Memory Spaces of Catalonia of the Democratic Memorial.
