Catalan rumba is, without a doubt, an important part of the soundtrack of the Barcelona metropolitan area: music capable of capturing the emotional temperature of this part of the Mediterranean. As every year, Terrats en Cultura wants to actively support the initiative to declare Catalan rumba as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO with the programming of a rumba show. This time we have opted for Acaracan, a rumba band from Nou Barris.
Acaracan invites us to go up to the rooftop of La Bòbila with their very personal and identifiable style, which mixes Catalan rumba fused with flamenco, reggae and rock. At Terrats, they will present the songs from the album La búsqueda in an unprecedented format, designed exclusively for Terrats, intimate and full of energy. A unique opportunity to enjoy the lyrics, melodies and rhythms of this Barcelona artist. This July 17, at 8:00 p.m. at the La Bòbila Cultural Center
