Yoyaku is an independent vinyl distributor and record store based in Paris that has established itself as one of the reference platforms within the European electronic scene. This Monday, it opened its first permanent record store outside of Paris in Barcelona. After the pop-up store experience, meaning temporary, which it launched last year and a year of preparation, the new space, located at number 48 Llull Street, in the Sant Martí neighborhood, becomes the first stable headquarters of the renowned French project.
The new store brings together a careful selection of references from Yoyaku Paris, as well as local Barcelona labels, new releases, and an extensive collection of second-hand vinyls. The objective is to consolidate itself as a meeting point for collectors, DJs, and electronic music lovers.
Coinciding with Off Week, Yoyaku has also prepared a special celebration with an exclusive in-store session, reserved for members of its community and guests of Yoyaku OFF Barcelona. All attendees will automatically participate in a raffle for an invitation to this private gathering.
Upcoming events
The Yoyaku OFF Barcelona party will take place on June 19, from 1 PM to 11 PM at Cala Vallcarca (Sitges), with performances by Sonja Moonear, Saoirse, Tomas Station, Mari.te, Lissarroca, Hugo Martínez, and Shaked.
The new Yoyaku Barcelona store is located at Annex Llull (Carrer de Llull, 48, Barcelona), within Bridge 48 Studios, one of the city's main music hubs dedicated to recording studios, training, and events.
