Tinc idees is a project that since last year gives voice to emerging comedy talents and promotes the use of Catalan in the world of comic monologues. The event, which has the support of Plataforma per la Llengua, this year celebrates its second edition in three sessions that will take place in different youth facilities in the city of Barcelona during the months of June and July.
The monologuists for this year's edition have been selected by the production team of Tinc idees from candidates between 16 and 35 years old who submitted their proposals and materials in an open call. The finalists will be distributed among the three venues so that there are a total of four performances in each session and are as follows: Àlex Garram, Georgina Cordobés, Pol Gallardo, Pau Bardils, Mònica Balsells and Martí Sanante.
The first session will be at the Espai Jove Jaume Ollé in Sant Andreu next June 17 at 7 p.m. with free admission until the hall is full. Pol Mallafré will be in charge of leading the first session as master of ceremonies, and Àlex Garram, Georgina Cordobés, Pol Gallardo and Pau Baldrís will perform.
The next session of this second edition will be on July 1 at the Espai Jove Casa Sagnier, at 6:30 p.m. In this case, admission is also free, but it is planned to be outdoors. The master of ceremonies for the session will be Èlia de Lama. In addition to Àlex Garram and Pau Bardils, who will repeat after the first session, Mònica Balsells and Martí Sanante will also perform.
The Espai Jove Boca Nord in Carmel will repeat to close this year's edition, on Thursday, July 16. It will be from 7:30 p.m. with free admission until full capacity, in a session led by Àlex Vila as master of ceremonies and in which Martí Sanante, Georgina Cordobés, Pol Gallardo and Mònica Balsells will perform again. A meeting point for new monologuists in Catalan
Tinc idees aspires to be a meeting point for new monologuists in Catalan and a boost for humor in our language, which still has a long way to go in this field.
The event, in addition to the involvement of these municipal facilities, will once again have the support and funding from Plataforma per la Llengua and the collaboration of the production company Laku Mèdia. As in the first edition, the session at Espai Jove Boca Nord will have the technical assistance of the Taller d’Oficis de l’Espectacle i les Indústries Creatives from Barcelona Activa.
