La Sala Upload de Barcelona will host next April 25, at 7 p.m., a very special concert by Ruïnosa y las Str1pp3rs de Rahola where they will present live Nascudes al Paral·lel, their first song in Catalan. Furthermore, this rebel Barcelona band will also play different new songs “that they have been slow-cooking in recent months and that they are very eager for the public to dance to”, they say in an Instagram post. The group, which defines itself as ‘travesti subnopunk’, has been active for four years, and continues to risk, innovate and surprise.

Nascudes al Paral·lel, is born after months of work by its artists and does so with a double claim. On the one hand, the return to the city's stages after the winter period; on the other, the presentation of this new theme, a song made entirely in Catalan by Ruïnosa y las Str1pp3rs de Rahola. With this new theme, they want to dialogue with the symbolic memory of this historic axis of Barcelona's leisure, often associated with popular arts, cabaret and the most uninhibited scenic forms. The new theme can already be seen in video clip format, work by Aïda Soler Esteban:

Far from a strictly musical format, the presentation to society of this musical novelty will feature a true grab bag, where in addition to the Barcelona group, there will also be performances by local drags, performances and varieties, all together to reclaim the permeability between disciplines and the centrality of the body and stage presence. In this framework, artists such as Jèssica Pulla and Kelly Passa!?, Brigitta Lamour, Toi Boi or Cosima Carrà, among others, will participate.

An exceptional poster, for an exceptional premiere

In addition, this event on April 25, will also serve to advance new artistic proposals from the artists who are part of the lineup, all live and in interaction with the attending public. From the organization, they say they wanted to create a shared space where music was the main axis, but not the only language present at the party. To be able to participate, tickets can be purchased through the website, at a price of 10 euros for the first fifty units, and 12 euros for the general rate.
