The electronic music festival SOUNDIT returns this summer to the Parc Nou of El Prat de Llobregat with a day dedicated to electronic sounds, house and techno. The event will take place this Friday, July 17, from 4 p.m. to 4 a.m., thus consolidating the municipality as one of the reference stages for electronic music lovers.
The lineup will bring together top-level local and international artists. Among the prominent names of the first day are Elena Barker, Lux Lisbon, Loidis and Memory Palace, while on Saturday Valium, Kiernan Laveaux, John Talabot, DVS1 and Honey Dijon, among many others, will also perform.
The festival maintains its commitment to combine great figures of the electronic scene with local talent, a formula that already marked its arrival in El Prat last year. In addition to the musical program, SOUNDIT continues to work to strengthen its link with the territory and with the local cultural fabric.
People registered in El Prat de Llobregat will once again be able to benefit from a 50% discount on the ticket price, an initiative that seeks to facilitate access for residents to the festival.
Beyond the event in El Prat, SOUNDIT has also announced new dates for its cycle at the Monumental in Barcelona. The next editions will be held on October 3 and 17, as well as November 14 and 28 and December 12, keeping the project alive during the autumn with new sessions dedicated to electronic music.
Collaboration with local entities
This edition of the festival premieres RESSÒ, a debate space resulting from the collaboration with projects from El Prat such as Canino FM, Refuge Worldwide and the cultural center La Capsa. This part of the program leaves aside the dance floor to focus on a program of round tables, interviews, live broadcasts and music camps.
To approach a local vision, the artistic direction of RESSÒ has been carried out with a collaborative workshop by PROXIMA, SAÓ Prat and industrial designer Vincent Orts. This initiative aims to appeal to local cultural agents in El Prat.
When and where did the festival start?
Before settling in the Parc Nou of El Prat de Llobregat, SOUNDIT had celebrated most of its editions at the Monumental in Barcelona, which has been its usual space since the project's birth in 2022.
In addition, the cycle also organized several events at Parc del Fòrum, especially during 2022 and 2023, with lineups featuring artists such as Young Marco, SPFDJ, Blawan, and Mall Grab.
