The exhibition "La fortuna de compartir la vida", created by the Comitè Català de l’ACNUR within the framework of the Refuge 4.7 program, will be inaugurated on February 17, 2026, at the CRAI Library of the Mundet Campus of the University of Barcelona, where it can be visited until March 16.
Through sounds, texts, and objects that recount the experience of refugees and asylum seekers, the exhibition explores the concept of wealth as an opportunity for exchange of knowledge, perspectives, cultures, experiences, and values, from which all of society benefits. Thus, it invites us to look at forced displacement from a more informed and human perspective, to combat stereotypes and misinformation, and to deconstruct xenophobic discourses
The presentation of the exhibition will feature refugees and asylum seekers who have participated in its creation, as well as Silvia Sala, director of the Catalan Committee of UNHCR; Pep Alsina, vice-dean of Innovation, Equity and Relations with Society of the Faculty of Education UB, and Cati Jerez, coordinator of the UB Refugi program. A guided tour of the exhibition will be held
The Refugi 4.7 program, in which the exhibition is framed, has the support of the Catalan Agency for Development Cooperation (ACCD), and has the collaboration of faculties of education from universities throughout Catalonia, among which is the University of Barcelona
