Sant Just Desvern is immersed in the Terrasses Musicals cycle with the third edition of this event, which has already become a must-have in the city.
During the next two months, several terraces of the municipality will be filled with live music, life and the perfect excuse to have an aperitif, extend the afternoon or stay for the early evening outdoors. Throughout May and June, several bars and restaurants will transform into small improvised stages where intimate acoustic concerts will be played. There will be sessions for all tastes and schedules: musical aperitifs at midday, relaxed afternoons with guitar and voice, and some evenings to let loose when the sun goes down and the best moment of the terraces arrives, when the heat gives a respite for a few hours.
Behind this initiative is the City Council, which explains that the objective is to bring music to the street and, incidentally, fill local establishments with movement, all in the same project.
May full of music for going making mouth
The first concert has taken place this May 2 at 18 h at the Bar de Can Ginestar. From here, the circuit spreads through spaces like Binar, Bar La Nata, QuartSet Restaurant & Lounge, Bar Los Pisos, Mile Monkey Gastrobar, Binomi Casa de Menjars, Chocolat Box, Paula Franco Pastisseria or Trini’s Café Bistró, among others.
Every weekend there will be a new excuse to go out for a walk and stumble upon live music without having to search much.
A June to continue lengthening the nights
In June, the rhythm continues with new performances in many of the same spaces and others that are added to the list, such as Sanborant Restaurant or Telepizza Sant Just, among others. The formula will be the same as in May: intimate concerts, relaxed atmosphere and the city transformed into a small dispersed live music festival.
With this third edition, the Terrasses Musicals are no longer a novelty, but a spring and summer classic in Sant Just Desvern. One of those plans that don't make noise, but that are slowly taking root in the agendas of this city in Baix Llobregat, which gives space to local musicians so they can make the terrace their loudspeaker, and to citizens so they can enjoy good moments, now that good weather has already arrived.
