On Thursdays this July, the Clot neighborhood experiences a new edition of the Eix Clot Tapas Route. Until July 31, every Thursday from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, the bars and restaurants that are part of the route offer a tapa accompanied by a drink for only 4 euros.
The best of each establishment
The route offers some of the specialties of the establishments in this Barcelona neighborhood. Among the proposals are chicken sweetbreads with Porcopreto sauce, octopus with potato and Nicasso sobrassada hash, or Melosa's cochinita pibil croquette.
More transgressive options can also be found, such as Lo de Carol's Gelatapa, which includes a small drink to choose between horchata or slushies and a baby ice cream, or Alevoso's Chips, a mini version of their potatoes with anchovies, mussels, piparra, olives, and Espinaler sauce.
12 exclusive coasters
This year, the route incorporates a proposal that goes beyond gastronomy. Each tapa is served with one of the 12 exclusive coasters from the "Fot-li canya a la tapa!" collection. Beyond being able to collect them, people who gather at least six different models and share a photograph of them on the Eix Clot website will enter a draw for 100 euros in shopping vouchers to spend at the neighborhood's shops, associated with Eix Clot.
With this gastronomic initiative, El Clot invites everyone to discover some of the neighborhood's establishments and new culinary proposals to enjoy the summer and the desire to celebrate evenings with a tapa and a drink and, above all, with good company.
