Years ago, the daily menus in Barcelona have changed. Between the brunch places and the inflation that has led many bars and restaurants to raise prices, many Barcelonians have lost confidence in finding a worthwhile midday menu.

It is evidence that menus for less than 10 euros in Barcelona have disappeared, but this does not prevent many places from remaining where every euro invested in the menu is amortized.

For this reason, we bring you a list of 15 establishments where you can enjoy a feast with very good value for money. Ordered by the price of the menu, from lowest to highest, these are the places we have selected:

1. El Rincón Sevillano

The list starts strong with El Rincón Sevillano (carrer de Calderón de la Barca, 129), a restaurant with authenticity in the Carmel neighborhood of Barcelona. Known by the locals, those who are not from the area might be surprised by the cuisine of a place with a simple appearance, but where you eat very well and for very affordable prices.

For only €13.50, El Rincón Sevillano is a quintessential popular restaurant. Opened in 1978 by an immigrant couple from Andalusia, the establishment retains the essence of its early days and owes itself to its clientele. All in all, El Rincón Sevillano's daily menu is comfort food like grandma's: homemade, abundant, and of quality.

2. L’Encant Vegetarià

There are those who still think that vegetarian cuisine cannot be good and economical. L’Encant Vegetarià (carrer dels Castillejos, 210) is one of Barcelona's best options to change their minds. For only €13.95, this restaurant near the Sagrada Família offers a 3-course menu at a more than affordable price. L’Encant Vegetarià offers a daily menu from Monday to Sunday.

If the price does not surprise enough, the cuisine of L'Encant Vegetarià has just satisfied all the clients who approach it. From the hand of chef Elvis you can taste lifelong classics such as a seafood and mountain fideuà, lentil empedrat or stuffed eggplants in their vegetarian version, in which animal protein is replaced with creativity and success by the chef. Multiple vegan options are also offered.

3. La Balmesina

If you are a fan of pizza, you cannot miss the menu of the day at La Balmesina (carrer de Balmes, 193). And yes, indeed, it is a pizza menu. For only €13.90, this restaurant in the middle of Eixample offers pizza, drink, and dessert. Although the menu is limited to four pizzas from the menu (margherita, the cheapest; buffalo; burrata and pesto; and Iberian salami), for a supplement you can choose from a wide variety of other pizzas.

La Balmesina has participated on several occasions in the Top 50 best pizzas in Europe contest, reaching 11th position this 2025. On a global scale, La Balmesina's is considered the 70th best pizza in the world.

4. El Rebost d’Hostafrancs

El Rebost d’Hostafrancs (carrer Béjar, 33) is a Mediterranean cuisine restaurant specializing in rice dishes, fish, and meats and quite known for its fork breakfasts. What not everyone knows is that at its tables with tablecloths, a daily menu experience, almost disappeared in Barcelona, is also offered for €14.70, the price of the daily menu in this restaurant.

The Rebost d’Hostafrancs usually fills up with workers who decide that the best way to continue their day is with a break that allows them to rest from professional responsibilities and choose between five first courses and five traditional second courses.

5. L’Actiu

The restaurant L’Actiu (Llacuna street, 162) offers in the heart of 22@ a menu of the day for €15.90 and which changes every day. It is the restaurant of Barcelona Activa, near the Glòries shopping center.

Regarding food, L'Actiu offers four starters and four main courses made each day according to market produce. It adapts traditional dishes to the more modern palates of Barcelona's technology district and offers local wines to accompany the meal.

6. Bodega Pàdua

If you've been there, you'll surely remember it. Bodega Pàdua (carrer de Pàdua, 92) is a place with personality and history. Founded in 1949 to supply wine to the neighbors of the Farró neighborhood, Bodega Pàdua has ended up serving, almost 80 years later, one of the best midday menus in Barcelona. For €15.90, from Monday to Saturday you can enjoy a midday menu focused on Mediterranean cuisine where traditional dishes such as cod, paella, or snails are not lacking.

La Bodega Pàdua is part of the 600 club of Catalonia and inside you can see parts of a Seat 600. In addition, the interior terrace of the establishment allows you to find rest in the middle of the day very close to Balmes street and the General Mitre ring road, two arteries of the city.

7. Bullanga

Despite being a relatively young restaurant (opened in 2023), Fonda Bullanga (carrer de la Diputació, 437) is already on the lists of many regulars for the daily menu. With an offer of six starters and six main courses, its midday menu for the affordable price of €16 has quickly established itself on Barcelona's gastronomic scene.

A large part of the responsibility lies with Roger Sánchez, the inn's cook and with years of experience at the stoves. The commitment to popular and spoon cuisine is working out well for them, and it's very much worth trying their dishes. If you go on Thursday or Friday, you can also taste their mixed escudella.

8. Cal Boter

Cal Boter (carrer de Tordera, 62) is a family restaurant in the Vila de Gràcia. The second generation of Cal Boter has maintained the commitment to traditional Catalan cuisine that makes the restaurant's dining room the closest to a home dining room.

For €16.20, the kitchen team offers a generous and well-known daily menu. Among the starters, you can find dishes like fideuà, lentil stew, or vegetable cream; and among the main courses, butifarra with beans, steaks with potatoes, or similar. After all, it's what you expect to find in a traditional and lovingly prepared lunch menu.

9. Can Boneta

Can Boneta (carrer de Balmes, 139) has been a classic in L'Eixample for years. Besides having a Repsol sun, it was also awarded in 2024 as one of the Best Restaurants in Barcelona by the BCN Gastronomic Society.

Regarding the menu, from Monday to Friday and for €17.5, the staff at Can Boneta offers a creative menu that changes daily. It consists of three starters, a main course, and dessert plus a drink. There are not many options to choose from, but whoever has visited the restaurant knows that it is not necessary.

After the success achieved in its first location, Can Boneta has also opened at 212 Aribau street, and at 118 Roselló street.

10. 3Focs

Also for €17.50, 3Focs (València street, 207) offers a lunch menu that is unusual in Barcelona. And it is that, in coherence with the restaurant's philosophy, the menu allows you to visit a Catalan farmhouse in the middle of Barcelona.

Available from Monday to Friday, the 3Focs menu allows you to choose first and second courses with various options of grilled meat and vegetables. Green asparagus with romesco or mushrooms with ham, as well as rabbit or pork cheeks are just some of the examples.

11. Ceviche 103

For €17.90, the midday menu at Ceviche 103 (carrer de Londres, 103) will allow you to transport yourself to Peru in the middle of your workday. The weekly menu (Monday to Friday) always includes a ceviche option, the house specialty.

You can choose between four starters and four main courses, in addition to a more noble dish for a supplement. This 2025 the restaurant also offers, for €29.90, a special menu to celebrate the venue's tenth anniversary.

12. La Forquilla

La Forquilla de Nou Barris (carrer de la Font d’en Canyelles, 88) offers for €18 one of the best lunch menus in Barcelona, prepared daily according to seasonal products available in the market.

The 4 starters and 4 mains they offer combine tradition and creativity. You can find both meatballs with cuttlefish and chickpeas and leeks a la carbonara with Iberian jowl veil. In the 24 years it has been open, the market cuisine of the restaurant La Forquilla has not stopped receiving recognition from its clientele.

13. Lanto

For €19.50, Lanto's (carrer de València, 646) lunch menu is a pleasant surprise. And no, it's not a metaphor. The Lanto team lets you choose between fish and meat, but you won't choose between the three starters and the main course offered by the menu.

If at Lanto they prefer the menu to be a surprise, we are no one to reveal it, but we can recommend the experience. Combining technique and fresh product, Lanto's dishes earned the restaurant recognition from BCN Gastronomic Society, which in 2024 gave it the second prize in the essential category.

14. Cal Ninot

At the restaurant Cal Ninot (carrer de Casanova, 138), Rosi Hu is responsible for maintaining impeccable product quality that attracts diners from all over the Eixample. For €23, Rosi's midday menu does not hide its intentions of aiming high and rejecting half-measures. In this way, far from being a traditional midday menu, among the starters you could find dishes with the strength of a creamy rice with oxtail and among the seconds, low-temperature churrasco, for example.

The architect of the project, Rosi Hu, carries in her backpack experience from the mythical Bar Michigan, which she already popularized for its Spanish omelette that you can now continue to enjoy at Cal Ninot.

15. La pubilla

At the restaurant La pubilla (plaça de la Llibertat, 23), in Vila de Gràcia, you can enjoy an excellent lunch menu for €24. In La Pubilla's kitchen, creativity and local, quality produce come together to offer a menu out of the ordinary.

In La pubilla, the main role that fish and seafood play also stands out. This can be seen in dishes on the menu such as dehydrated tomato with herb mató, anchovies and olive paste; green Puy lentils with sofrito and prawns or capipota with cod tripe.
