This end of July marks the final stretch of one of the most consolidated and projected cultural traditions of Sant Adrià de Besòs. Until next Friday, July 31, citizens and visitors have the last opportunity to visit the headquarters of the Agrupació Fotogràfica Sant Adrià (Doctor Barraquer street, 6) and enjoy the works selected in the 77th International Photography Exhibition "Silver Shell".

An international showcase of visual creation

The competition, endorsed by the Catalan Photography Federation and the Spanish Photography Confederation, has once again established itself as a reference space for national and international creators. This year's exhibition brings together a careful selection of images ranging from photojournalism and human portraiture to nature photography, urban landscape, and the search for new forms of visual experimentation.

Among the most outstanding elements of this 77th edition is the honorary award given to the winners: an exclusive trophy specially designed for the occasion by the ceramic artist Núria Ribera, which adds an artisanal and additional value to the prestige of the prize.

Visiting hours and free access

The exhibition is open to the general public on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons during the usual opening hours of the association's social premises, with totally free admission.

With the closing of this exhibition next Friday, the photography entity from Sant Adrià puts an end to its public activities for the month of July before the August summer break, already preparing the ground for the next season of workshops, competitions, and cultural dissemination activities in the municipality.
