A photographic exhibition invites reflection on the Sagrada Família and its relationship with the city of Barcelona. It is the exhibition oooh…!!!!, by the architect and photographer Alfons Oller i Coderch, known in the world of photography as Ei POiNT, who was recently awarded at the Architecture Photography MasterPrize Awards 2024 (APMP) presented this February in Los Angeles. These days, and until July 30, the exhibition can be seen at the headquarters of the Agrupació Fotogràfica de Catalunya (carrer Duc, principal 14), in Barcelona's Ciutat Vella district.

Curated by art critic Allean Olko, it is an artistic project consisting of eighteen large-format photographs inspired by the Gaudí universe and, moreover, reinterpreted from contemporary photography. Through its own visual language, Oller's photographs trace a journey through forms, symbols, and atmospheres of the temple that dialogue with Gaudí's work from a current and creative perspective.

The exhibition proposes a journey from the exterior to the interior of the Sagrada Família, the result of an exhaustive observation that the photographer has made over 25 years. On June 9, the exhibition's inauguration was held, where Ei POiNT offered the performance from darkness to light.

About the photographer

Alfons Ollé i Cordech has organized more than 150 exhibitions throughout his career. His photos have been published on portals such as Lens Culture or UrbanNext. His work has been recognized with more than seventy awards or mentions in international photography competitions, such as the Siena IPA or the Fine Art PA. Recently, he was awarded at the MasterPrize Architecture Awards with Living a Jujolian Filigree, a series of ten images developed in two houses by the architect Josep Maria Jujol in Sant Joan Despí. The photographer delves into the domesticity of the Jujolian space to compose a visual poem around Catalan modernism.
